Manager - Meat Department

- Prepare and organize department activities to achieve sales and profitability objectives ;
- Contribute to the development of action plans ;
- Carry out department orders and purchases ;
- Check the conformity of the invoices with the delivery orders ;
- Ensure to receive company returns and allowances with vendors ;
- Regularly evaluate the follow-up of the receipt of goods procedures as regards internal security ;
- Ensure that the store is ready to receive customers with regard to the quantity of goods, the labelling of products, the rotation of perishable goods ;
- Guarantee the rotation of products according to codes of consumption deadlines ;
- Prepare, one week in advance, on planogram, the marketing of the products ;
- Perform employee work schedules ;
- Lead the coordination/night work ;
- Ensure compliance with company policies (reception, safety, etc.) and occupational health, hygiene, health and safety standards ;
- Hire, onboard, train and evaluate employees.
Requirements
- Sec V / DEP or equivalent ;
- 5 years of experience as a butcher including 2 years as assistant manager ;
- Experience in food/meat ;
- Bilingualism ;
- Managing the performance of its employees;
- Orientation towards quality work/service ;
