Manager - Fruit and Vegetable Department

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize department activities to achieve sales and profitability objectives ;
• Contribute to the development of action plans ;
• Carry out department orders and purchases ;
• Check the conformity of the invoices with the delivery orders ;
• Ensure to receive company returns and allowances with vendors ;
• Regularly evaluate the follow-up of the receipt of goods procedures as regards internal security ;
• Ensure that product labelling meets store standards, Head Office price list, Optical Drive Crate prices ;
• Ensure price cards comply with the circular ;
• Oversee product rotation based on consumption cut-off date codes ;                                               
• Prepare, one week in advance, on planogram, the marketing of the products ; 
• Take periodic inventories and justify variances ;
• Ensure compliance with company policies (reception, safety, etc.) and occupational health, hygiene, health and safety standards ; 
• Hire, onboard, train and evaluate employees.
