A new opportunity for you in Toronto, you will collaborate with the Assistant Store Manager and you will manage the selling team to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service, the achievement of Department KPI’s and sales and profit goals.

Responsibilities

  • Leads, providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customer;
  • Serves as a role model for all customer services standards;
  • Coaches and leads department sales team to provide exceptional customer service;
  • Assists in the attainment of profitability goals by coaching and leading the sales teams in the achievement of their respective sales goals;
  • Working in partnership with AM, completes department schedules to achieve maximum customer service coverage while completing daily / weekly task lists;
  • Oversees delivery of service shop customer service standards and operations compliance within the service shop;
  • Adheres to guidelines in performing authorizations for warranties, repairs, returns and alterations;
  • In collaboration with the Operations Manager, ensures departments are well-maintained, re-stocked, and markdowns are complete;
  • Participates in Merchandise change planning and mark down / sale set up;
  • Assists and participates in seasonal changeover;
  • Motivates and leads staff through personal;
  • Recruits and selects superior staff in conjunction with the Assistant Store Manager and assists with staff development through on-going coaching, succession planning, performance appraisals and fair and consistent leadership;
  • Participates in training, both in maintaining a current personal level of product knowledge and communicating the latest product trends, innovations and technologies through training sessions;
  • Participates and leads PK Sessions for department product.

Requirements

  • 2 years of retail experience management skills with proven leadership ability;
  • A love of fashion, sport and a healthy, active lifestyle;
  • A genuine passion for serving the public and creating an exceptional customer experience;
  • Results driven, entrepreneurial, competitive, self-confident, and self-motivated;
  • Basic computer skills;
  • Desire to continually learn and develop knowledge around products;
  • Superior communication skills;
  • Proven multitasking and time management skills.
