We’re hiring an HRIS Specialist for a global company, in Montreal.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain employee files through the employee life cycle from attraction to separation, entering new hires, promotions, transfers, and various other status changes;
  • Liaison with payroll department for discrepancies;
  • Partner with HR, Payroll and HRIS Support team to resolve, test, and improve HR system inquiries, issues, and ongoing development;
  • Works closely with HR and HRIS to support and improve system optimization, processes and automation efforts (ex: recruitment, offer letters, onboarding, confirmation of employment, Training, etc.);
  • Supports HRIS team when evaluating, reviewing, testing, and implementing new modules and existing functionality and changes;
  • Maintains detailed HR and HRIS documentation of processes, procedures, and methods to ensure proper business continuity;
  • Produces and automates various auditing reports according to business needs;
  • Maintains appropriate roles and responsibilities in HR system (ex: job profiles, codes, location, hierarchy, access security);
  • Trains new system users, and supports on special projects.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in HRIS, combined with HR;
  • Knowledge of Workday (asset) or other HR systems;
  • University Degree, in Human Resources Management;
  • Bilingual, English and French.
