- Ensure that the catalog of online products is up-to-date and that the product mix is appropriate for promotions, campaigns and marketing offensives;
- Establish a product categorization plan and create cross selling or complementary sales opportunities;
- Maintain the overall quality of our website aesthetic and performance of products;
- Merchandises website products based on current and desired sales objectives, key seasonal & merchandising themes by using in-store and website selling reports;
- Leverages platform insights to optimize best website product placement to increase revenue and improve conversion rates;
- Build regular reports to assess the performance and relevance of merchandising operations and present them to the Ecomm Director;
- Using analytics to identify opportunities for improvement in merchandising efficiency and collaborating on optimization activities within the retail stream;
- Focus on ensuring products are properly placed, represented, tracked and analyzed;
- Responsible for categorizing promotion products, new arrivals, top sellers, and associating cross sell products;
- Plans and coordinates all required assets for front-end of website with E-Commerce and Marketing Departments, including management product images and banners, product descriptions and French translations;
- Monitoring inventory online making sure products are in stock.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or related field;
- 3 years relevant experience;
- Strong communication, research, and typing skills;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook);
- Creativity, resourcefulness, flexibility, and motivation;
- Ability to understand the needs associated with a project and the target audience;
- Receptiveness to feedback;
- Knowledge of kitchenware industry is an asset;
- Able to interpret results from reporting.
